I think that it is important to have a futuristic vision of the elements which must be planned to be achieved and accomplished from beforehand. This is because if nothing is planned, then the organizational members of an organization like a Fire Department will never be able to align their personal and professional missions into one mutual mission to achieve the mutual goals of the organization. Therefore, every organizational member in a Fire Department has to understand the commonality of the list of things which must be achieved by each of the organizational members individually or by the organizational members as a team.
